Our First Hulaween: What to Expect at Suwannee Hulaween 2026

This year, iLL Art Collective is heading to Suwannee Hulaween for the very first time. Hulaween is one of the most creative festivals in the country, and we can't wait to set up our booth in the Suwannee woods and meet you there.

Whether this is your first Hulaween too or your tenth, here's what's happening this year, what to pack, and how to find us.

Hulaween 2026 at a glance

  • When: Thursday, October 22 to Sunday, October 25, 2026
  • Where: Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida
  • Year: the festival's 13th edition

The music

The String Cheese Incident hosts again with three nights of sets, including a Saturday night Shebang billed as The Warren Haynes Incident with guitarist Warren Haynes. The rest of the top of the lineup is stacked: Pretty Lights (playing a three-hour set), My Morning Jacket, Excision and Geese.

Further down the bill you'll find STS9, Green Velvet, Ben Böhmer, Big Gramatik, Lettuce, Levity, Of The Trees, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, EOTO, KETTAMA and many more. Green Velvet's LaLaLand and Of The Trees' Memory Palace are hosting artist-curated takeovers, and the Def: Off Limits Stage returns.

Spirit Lake: the reason we're so excited

For an art collective, Hulaween's Spirit Lake is the main event. It's the festival's art environment, with large-scale installations, projection mapping, interactive sculptures and live performance art. This year the Spirit Lake 360º Experience brings back the full walking path around the lake. Plan to walk it at least once after dark.

What to pack for Hulaween

Late October in north Florida can swing from warm afternoons to chilly nights, and Hulaween means costumes. A few things we never go to a festival without:

  • A pashmina for when the sun goes down. It doubles as a scarf, a wrap or a blanket on the hill. Shop pashminas
  • A hand fan for warm afternoons and packed dance floors. Shop hand fans
  • A bandana for dusty paths and campsites. Shop bandanas
  • An air couch so your crew has somewhere comfy to land between sets. Shop air couches
  • Pins for your hat, bag or totem, and a few extra to trade. Shop pins
